In 2003, Swen Freeth, specialist for laser welding systems, and Detlef Voigt, experienced graduate engineer and metallurgist,
founded the company quada V+F Laserschweißdraht as a GbR. In mid-2005, quada V+F Laserschweißdraht GmbH was also founded.
quada, as an independent company in the field of laser welding wire, is to stand out clearly from conventional
suppliers. This is to be ensured above all by an increase in competence and a wide range of services. The goal is the
technically and economically optimal solution for the individual customer.
As was to be expected, the service quality combined with reliability and optimised wire delivery led to success.
Today, quada is especially known and in demand as a problem solver in the field of laser welding wire. Whether in
